Batch processing
(OS)
I. An operating system is a controller or
communicator or mediator in between user to computer , input operation to
output operation and hardware components to software technique means as per the
definition an operating system playing as a vital role in computer platform or
an environment.
II.
According to the platform , where an
operating system work is of 3 different type
like:- Single user single tasking, single user multitasking and
multiuser multitasking.
III.
Similarly according to the operation
of multiple execution , an operating system are of different types and out of
all batch processing is one of them.
IV.
Batch processing it self suggest that the gathering of more number
of job according to their operational capability or features by an operating system
before starts their execution .
V.
Suppose an user insert a six number
of jobs named as A,B,C,D,E,F, out of all 1st 3 jobs are equal in execution features as
well as the rest of the 3 jobs are different from each other according to their
operation.
VI.
In such situation an operating system
accept all the jobs from an user and than according to their nature of
operations an operating system prepare a batch and simultaneously loaded some
are inside the main memory and rest all are loaded inside the second storage device for temporally till the end of
their execution.
VII.
While an execution of all the job or
permanently over than the operating system allowing the users for output operations
either for loading the job or deleted the job.
VIII.
After the end of an execution of all jobs
an operating system free of the memory
for further executions or operations.
